A remarkable act of love

How should i start.....not good at blogging.

Was in Kopitiam (Ipoh parade) with Helen, Shannon, Ian and Ben.
Eating and chatting when Ben received a call from Ah Seong.
"I'm at Kopitiam now.
My wife ....she's also here with me....anything? You in church ...." Said Ben curiously.

Ah Seong and wife came to kopitiam .....saw us ....." Bad news ", he spoke solemnly.
"Esther just passed away in New Zealand tis morning (msia time)" he continued.

Took me by surprised .... Ah Seong went to speak to the priest wandering what they
can do for his late sister-in-law as they are unable to attend the funeral. ( they saw our car in church ....so called Ben)

So thoughtful of him and family members here.....so touched by their gesture ....especially they are non-Catholics.

Esther, a Catholic so they wandered the church can advise. So offering her a mass in church was suggested to him.

This coming Sunday his family members will come and attend the 8.00am mass .....
for Esther's soul......isn't that beautiful. They went all the way to church to enquire......i'm speechless ....what a remarkable act of love.

That morning, I saw Mary and Issac .....I presume she was not notified too.At kopitiam, Ian tried to call Issac ...no answer. Shannon had Ivan number .....I called him.....must have given him a surprise (using Shannon phone and I was the one speaking to him) and also gave him a shock regarding the news before asking him for his mother's hand phone number). Then Soo San called and informed Mary about the sad news.

I was told she had recovered from cancer prior to settling in NZ. She was admitted to hospital for pneumonia and didnt recover.(must have been hard for her to leave her boys and husband....vice versa).

Sweet bye and bye to you Esther.......may you find eternal joy in the presence of the Lord.
